Hau Pham is an emerging Artist based in Vaughan, Ontario. She is a 2021 graduate of  OCAD University, with a specialization in Drawing and Painting. She has served as a  Programs Assistant at Xpace Cultural Centre, and has experience as a Visual Arts and Art History Educator at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. She continues to work for OCAD University as a Portfolio and Workshops Coordinator. 

My current practice explores ideologies of the Asian feminine identity and lived experience. Some key terms that have and continue to embody my work include: personhood, social media, liberation, false liberation, group identity, Orientalism, Ornamentalism, adolescence, age, affection,  imitation, substitution, authenticity, visual aesthetics, perfection, beauty, perception, fragility, value, commonality, preservation, objectification, prosperity, wealth, value, choice, confusion, guilt, uncertainty, kinship, social life, and humiliation.
